No, the registration of the project team (students) for the ConnectNext program has to be done by the respective head of the institution/ dean of the college/ head of the department.
The UG students of 3rd (5/ 6 Semester) and 4th (7/ 8 Semester) year are eligible for the ConnectNext program.
The duration of the ConnectNext program is 9 – 12 months.
We recommend a project team of 6 – 8 students, but the college / institute / university can follow its own guidelines (if any).
We encourage all girls team (if possible).
Yes, but there needs to be one nodal college / institute / university to lead and manage the students’ team.
It is mandatory to form an interdisciplinary project team of students, based on the selected industry use case / problem statement. The college / institute / university needs to identify the students from the relevant engineering stream with appropriate prerequisite skills.
The college / institute / university also needs to nominate a professor with the prerequisite skills/ knowledge to serve as the industry project guide and mentor the project team of students.
The respective head of the institution / dean of the college / head of the department of the shortlisted project teams of students are notified by email.
We then receive registrations from the college/ institute/ university PAN India, each registration undergoes a strict screening process.
Its offsite/ fully online, the project team (students) and the professor (industry project guide) are provided with access to 3D virtual worlds that provide instant access to learning materials, industry mentors, SME’s, anytime, anywhere.
No, we also encourage college / institute / university to source the industry use case/ problem statement from their industry networks.
Yes, the industry use case/ problem statement sourced from your industry networks needs to be populated into the La Fondation Dassault Systèmes library.
Following the review and approval of the industry use case/ problem statement by La Fondation Dassault Systèmes, the respective college/ institute/ university will be informed.
Yes, the access is provided to the first-class learning paths/ videos/ webinars/ courses to foster student skills and collaboration.
Yes, project team (students) and the professor (industry project guide) will be invited for the online learning/ training sessions.
We appeal the college/ institute/ university to allocate the academic credits for the students participating in the ConnectNext program.
Based on the source of the industry use case/ problem statement the IP generated is owned by the respective stakeholder.

The shortlisted college/ institute/ university must submit the ‘Compliance Letter’.
We encourage the project team (students) to develop the virtual solution for the chosen industry use case/ problem statement, once it’s reviewed and approved by industry mentor, proceed towards physical prototype development.
Based on the review and approval of the physical prototype development proposals shared by the respective industry mentor, the funding support will be jointly provided by the college/ institute/ university, industry and La Fondation Dassault Systèmes.
